Condition: UNKNOWN NOTE: The City of Chicago is selling 15 automated people mover (APM) light rail train cars. This auction listing is for #7 train car only. Approx. Dimensions: 45 ft (L) 9 ft (W) 12 ft (H) Overall length: Approximately 45 feet, measured from coupler face to coupler face. Length excluding couplers: Approximately 42 feet. Approximate Weight: Each car weighs approximately 40,000 lbs. Keys: All train cars use the same key set . Keys will be provided to the winning bidder. Pickup of Train Cars by the Winning Bidder: Pickup location: Chicago O Hare International Airport Taft Avenue Storage Area (map attached). The winning bidder is responsible for loading, transporting, and off-loading the train car. The winning bidder must supply all necessary labor, equipment, and transport vehicles . The train car must be removed from the staging area within 10 days of executing the Right of Entry (ROE). Right of Entry (ROE) The winning bidder must fully execute the Right of Entry agreement before removing any equipment. A minimum of 48 hours notice is required before arriving to remove the car.
