Gold Necklace w/Diamonds & Blue Sapphire 14 Karat yellow gold & platinum (18) inch hollow Italian made half dome mesh link necklace featuring a (2) inch extender. The necklace features what appears to be a natural faceted "Roval" shaped Sri Lankan Fine Blue sapphire that measures 7.66 x 8.44 x 4.84mm. The sapphire shows straight growth lines and has signs of heat treatment. The estimated weight of the sapphire is 2.75 carats and has undergone refractometer testing to establish that it is sapphire material. Quality grades are Medium to Dark blue and eye clean. (there is a visible chip on the crown/table edge). The center piece to the necklace additionally features (49) round brilliant cut natural faceted diamonds raging in measurement from 1.70mm to 2.40mm and having an estimated total weight of 1.75 carats.
