Full Description

Leeson Electric Motor, Model A6K8FR1A, 0.5 HP, 115V, 840 RPM, J56H, T180544 Because of its slow 840 RPM speed combined with 1/2 horsepower, this motor is built for machinery requiring high starting torque, smooth continuous duty, and reduced rotational speed without needing a complex external gearbox reduction. Typical applications include: Industrial fans, blowers, and specialized machinery requiring gentle, steady rotation rather than high-speed output Industrial & Commercial Machinery: Slow-speed conveyors, assembly lines, and material handling equipment. Agricultural Equipment: Specialized farm or barn slow-speed drives, feed handling, or ventilation setups. Pumps and Blowers: Low-speed positive displacement pumps or specialized air/gas moving equipment where high-RPM motors would over-speed the load. Specialized Shop or Workshop Tools: Custom slow-turning apparatus, rotisseries, heavy mixers, or specialized turning/rolling machinery.
