The Leica CM1950 is a professional laboratory instrument used to quickly freeze and slice thin biological tissue samples for medical diagnosis.  Features DualEcoTec Cooling: Cools the machine down quickly and keeps temperatures stable. UVC Disinfection: Uses ultraviolet light to clean the chamber and reduce harmful germs. Encapsulated Microtome: Encloses the slicing tool to protect operators and keep the workspace clean.  Technical Specifications Chamber Temperature: Ranges from -5°C to -35°C. Specimen Head Temperature: Reaches down to -50°C for fast freezing. Section Thickness: Cuts tissue slices from 1 to 100 microns thick. Maximum Sample Size: Handles specimens up to 50 x 80 mm. The Cryostat is being sold for Parts & Repair. The Cryostat has not been powered on or tested. The Cryostat is equipped with wheels and rolls properly. The Cryostat comes with everything that has been documented within the included photos and nothing more. The Cryostat may show signs of cosmetic wear such as scuffs and sticker labels.
