Rare Vintage Ernst Leitz Wetzlar Dialux Forensic Ballistics Comparison Microscope – Complete Dual Setup with Bridge & Power Supply For sale is a genuine vintage Ernst Leitz Wetzlar Dialux forensic comparison microscope system. This is a complete dual-microscope setup consisting of two original Leitz Dialux stands permanently joined by the factory Leitz comparison bridge. It was built for professional forensic and criminalistics work — the gold standard in crime labs for decades for comparing bullets, cartridge cases, tool marks, fibers, paint chips, hairs, and other trace evidence. The large horizontal bridge optically merges the images from both microscopes so you can view two specimens side-by-side (split field) or partially superimposed in a single binocular view. Specific note on one microscope: The left-side stand is missing the small mounting screw pieces where the comparison bridge attaches (clearly visible in the close-up photos). The bridge still connects securely and functions properly, but the missing screws are noted for full disclosure.
