Lot of 2 Sony CD changers

These high end CD changers were too nice to scrap but they need some small repairs. The 701ES works great but has a squeaky tray when you open it. The 801ES has an erratic tray and didnt play when tested. Potentially parts only or repair but it does power on. Sony CDP-701ES (CD Player) Function: One of Sony's earliest and most ruggedly built high-end ES (Elevated Standard) series CD players, produced between 1983 and 1985. Build Quality: Features heavy copper-plated chassis elements, anodized aluminum plates, and massive internal component shielding. Sony CDP-C801ES (CD Player) Design: Premium 5-disc carousel CD player built with an aluminum faceplate and side wood panels. Features: Dual transformers and a rigid copper chassis designed to reduce vibration and improve audio clarity.
