Surplus lot of Ames Co. (Woodland, Calif.) double-check and double-check detector assemblies removed from service. Includes the following: 3 complete 6" assemblies 1 disassembled 6" assembly 1 complete 8" assembly 1 additional 6" gate valve (rougher condition, appears likely inoperable) Assemblies are paired with Kennedy KS II and Stockham isolation gate valves. Visible markings include Kennedy KS II (UL/FM, 200 W / 250 W), Stockham 6" 175, and Ames nameplates (Double Check Assembly / Double Check Detector Assembly, models in the 2000 SE / 3000 SE range, FM approved, Pat. # 5,046,525). Condition: Unknown. Units were removed as part of an upgrade rather than known failure. Surface rust and weathering consistent with outdoor surplus storage.
