Purchaser must sign a Medical Device Statement of Intent and a Hold Harmless Form located in the Additional Documents section and email to melinda.jenkins@gsa.gov. The item will not be awarded to the bidder until the attached paperwork is completed and returned to the sales contracting officer. Overview (1) Medical Packaging, Inc. (MPI) Fluidose 5 liquid unit-dose packaging system acquired December 2017. This item is in repairable condition. Tabletop pharmacy automation equipment designed to fill oral liquid medications into individual single-dose cups, apply heat seals, and produce barcode labels for medication identification and dispensing. System may include a liquid pump or syringe-filling arrangement, disposable product tubing, cup feeder/denester, heat-sealing station, touchscreen controls, label printer, sensors, and associated computer/software components. Parts may be missing, and repairs may be required. Unit is approximately 8 years old and may show cosmetic wear consistent with routine clinical or pharmacy use. Potential wear includes scratches, scuffs, discoloration, dust accumulation, and light surface corrosion or oxidation on exposed metal. Control buttons or touchscreen markings may show wear. Staining or residue may be present around liquid-contact areas, tubing connections, fill nozzles, cup handling components, and heat-sealing surfaces. Condition of the filling system, pump, seals, sensors, printer, barcode function, software, electrical components, and overall operational status should be inspected and verified before return to service. Inspection and Removal Inspection and Removal: Available Monday through Friday, by confirmed appointment only. The site is closed on federal holidays. Contact the property custodian (listed below) to schedule an appointment. Removal Responsibilities: The successful bidder is solely responsible for all aspects of removal, including packing, crating, banding, loading, and shipping. The agency will not provide assistance. Authorized Third-Party Removal: The authorized third-party agent must present a Letter of Authorization from the high bidder (see terms and conditions for details), a copy of the purchasers receipt, and a valid photo ID at the time of removal. Additional Information: This facility does not prepare any sales for shipping or assist with loading or removal.
