Overview (1) Pyxis MedStation 3500 automated medication-dispensing system acquired in March 2004. This floor-standing electronic medication cabinet is designed for healthcare settings to securely store, control access to, and dispense medications and medical supplies. The system includes a touchscreen/control console, internal computer components, locking medication drawers/bins, cabinet frame, power connections, and associated workstation components. Key Features Automated medication dispensing system for secure storage and controlled access. Touchscreen/control console for user interface and system operation. Internal computer components for system processing and data management. Locking medication drawers and bins for secure medication storage. Floor-standing cabinet frame with power connections for workstation setup. Condition & Markings This lot is in repairable condition. Parts may be missing, and repairs may be required. Condition reflects approximately 22 years of routine medical use with normal cosmetic wear. May exhibit surface scratches, scuffs, dents, rub marks, and finish wear throughout. Plastic components may show discoloration or yellowing from age and use. Dust accumulation may be present in vents or seams. Minor oxidation may be visible on exposed metal hardware. Drawer fronts, handles, hinges, locks, and keyboard/touchscreen areas may show heavier wear from repeated daily use. Cabinet edges may display wear patterns from regular operation. Software, licensing, network connectivity, keys, accessories, mounting hardware, and medication bins are included only if physically present. Inspection and Removal Inspection and Removal: Available Monday through Friday, by confirmed appointment only. The site is closed on federal holidays.
