Market demand: Electronics in Washington sell about 83% of the time, typically ~9 bids. Based on 1,188 completed sales over the last year.
A lot of approximately 227 used Core i5 laptops offered for appointment-only inspection and pickup at a Washington state surplus facility. Targets wholesale PC redistributors, bulk resellers, and corporate IT liquidators buying used business laptops. You must schedule a pre-bid site visit to sample the lot for CPU, RAM, drive condition, and display functionality; buying blind on a 227-unit lot is high-risk.
Estimated flip margin and comp range available with Pro. Summary may occasionally contain inaccuracies; check the full description before bidding.

Details: This bulk lot contains approximately 227 laptops that include, but not limited to, HP & Dell brands. The lot was assembled through a sorting process intended to identify systems with Intel Core i5 processors. While most units are expected to reflect that specification, the lot was not individually verified, and actual configurations—both brand and processor type —may vary. Functionality Testing: Ten laptops were randomly tested. All powered on and six successfully accessed BIOS. See attached pics for reference. The remainder of the pallet is untested. General Condition: Units show typical signs of use—scratches, scuffs, sticker residue, and possible physical damage such as cracked plastics, missing keys, or loose hinges. Internal components such as RAM, storage, and battery health have not been assessed. Some laptops may be missing parts including hard drives, RAM, keyboards, or batteries. No power adapters, paperwork, or packing lists are included. Verification Summary: Due to the nature of bulk surplus handling and visual sorting limitations, inventory, brand, and processor accuracy is not guaranteed. All items are sold as-is, with no warranty or assurance of performance. Interested bidders are encouraged to review images carefully. You may schedule a preview by calling 360-407-2271 or emailing surpluscashier@des.wa.gov prior to bidding. Please be aware that per Washington Administrative Code (WAC) 200-360-040 : "No sale shall be invalid due to defects discovered after sale which may have been discovered by a reasonable inspection of the property before sale." Asset is sold as is, where is and without warranty. Once the asset is removed from the seller's premises there is no refund of monies previously paid. Weight: 850 LBS Please note: If a pallet is shown, the weight includes the pallet. Dimensions: 29"H x 41"W x 48"D - Lot Size
