Parts may be missing, and repairs may be required. Chair is not included with the desk. Large and heavy item requiring two-person lift for safe handling. Inspection and Removal Inspection and Removal: Available Monday through Friday, by confirmed appointment only. The site is closed on federal holidays. Contact the property custodian (listed below) to schedule an appointment. Property Inspection: Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the property prior to placing a bid to evaluate its condition and suitability. By bidding without an inspection, bidders assume the risk of potential omissions in the description. Removal Responsibilities: The successful bidder is solely responsible for all aspects of removal, including packing, crating, banding, loading, and shipping. The agency will not provide assistance. Authorized Third-Party Removal: The authorized third-party agent must present a Letter of Authorization from the high bidder (see terms and conditions for details), a copy of the purchasers receipt, and a valid photo ID at the time of removal. Additional Information: Items are located on the 2nd floor of the building. Removal requires navigation through stairwell or use of the freight elevator, when available. Loading dock access is at the rear of the building. No tractor-trailers recommended due to limited turning space. Agencies must provide their own labor, equipment, and transport capability. L-shaped desks and wood cabinets are heavy; recommend 2-3 movers. All personnel must sign in at the lobby and provide name, agency, address, phone, and email.
