If the successful bidder authorizes a third-party individual, shipping company, or transportation provider to retrieve the item(s), the bidder must provide VCU with a signed Bill of Sale identifying the authorized third party prior to pickup. Items will not be released until the required authorization has been received and verified. All individuals retrieving auction property, including third-party representatives, must present valid photo identification at the time of pickup. Identification may be recorded or scanned as part of the property-release process.
