Condition: SEE DESCRIPTION Tacoma Public Schools is selling an auction lot of 280 defective Dell laptops and 1 defective iMac computer. All items included with this auction were determined to be defective after a visual inspection and attempted wipe of the hard drive. Some reasons why these were labeled as defective include: missing keys, broken screen, broken buttons, and damaged hinges. If a device was unable to be wiped, the hard drive was removed. Devices that still have a hard drive do not have any operating system installed on them and have been wiped to Department of Defense specifications. None of the items have been tested for proper function, and all are being sold "as-is". There are no guarantees of proper function (implied or otherwise), completeness, suitability for use, or condition. Model and quantities were provided and documented by a 3rd party entity. A comprehensive sheet detailing the contents of each pallet (including model and serial numbers for each unit) is provided by said source. This sheet also details why each device was determined to be defective. Please see attachment for details on every device included with this auction. Breakdown of these units by model number is as follows: 268 - Dell Latitude 3190 2 in 1 Laptop 4 - Dell Latitude 3120 2 in 1 Laptop 4 - Dell Latitude 3310 2 in 1 Laptop 4 - Dell Latitude 3390 2 in 1 Laptop 1 - Apple iMac 27 inch, 2009 Pallet measures 40" x 48" x 39" tall. Weight is 995lbs. This auction includes no power cords of any kind. All of these units are being sold "as-is". There are no guarantees (implied or otherwise) of proper function, completeness, suitability for use, or condition. Battery condition on these laptops is unknown. Any item not listed in this auction's description, but appearing in the background of any image is not included as a part of this auction. Please contact with further questions. We do not allow partial pickups, and the expectation is that all items will be picked up at the same time. Pickup and preview appointments are only scheduled from 7:00am until 2:30 pm Monday-Friday. (7:00am until 3:30pm Monday-Thursday June 15th through August 31st). Auctions unavailable for inspection will be clearly labeled as such. Inquiries received within 24 hours of auction closing may not be answered before the auction closes. Where applicable, pallets will be wrapped and prepared for transport. Unless otherwise noted, pickup location does have a loading dock. It is the sole responsibility of the buyer to move, load, and transport all auction items. Tacoma Public Schools does not provide shipping for any items. Partial pickups are not permitted or allowed, except under extraordinary circumstances at the sole discretion of an authorized Tacoma Public Schools representative.
