The City of Schertz will NOT assist with loading, lifting, or moving items in any capacity. Buyer Responsibilities: The buyer must supply all necessary labor, tools, and specialized equipment required for removal. There are no forklifts or loading docks available at this location. Some items are extremely heavy and require specialized transport. No Shipping: The City does not ship items or provide packaging materials. Buyers may coordinate with a third-party courier to package and ship items at their own expense. Deadlines: Standard removal timelines and appointment rules apply. Items not removed within the required timeframe will be considered in default. Third-Party Pickups If someone other than the winning bidder is picking up the asset, you must provide authorization prior to arrival. Please send an email to Purchasing@Schertz.com containing: Written consent authorizing the specific third party or courier to remove the items. A photocopy of the winning bidder s identification. Important: The individual or courier picking up the item must also present valid identification upon arrival to confirm they are the authorized recipient. Condition of Items (Sold "As Is") Unknown Status: The actual working condition of these items is unknown . Reported conditions are from the time of inspection and may have changed.
