Overview (1) Air Science Purair BASIC P5-36 ductless recirculating laboratory fume hood with compatible stainless-steel transport cart. This item is in repairable condition. The 36-inch-wide benchtop enclosure provides localized containment and filtered recirculation of laboratory vapors, fumes, and particulates during general medical, clinical, pharmacy, or laboratory procedures. The unit was acquired in September 2015 and is approximately 11 years old. Key Features Clear front viewing/sash panel for visibility during procedures. Internal work area with blower/airflow system for containment. Filtration compartment for vapor and particulate removal. Control panel with power cord for operation. Mounted mobile cart with casters for transport and positioning. Condition & Markings This lot is in repairable condition. Parts may be missing, and repairs may be required. Due to age and prior medical/laboratory use, expected cosmetic condition may include surface scratches, scuffs, small dents, discoloration or yellowing of clear panels, worn control-panel markings, adhesive residue, dust accumulation, minor corrosion or staining on metal surfaces, and wear to casters, handles, and fasteners. Filters, airflow performance, alarm functions, electrical components, and overall operational condition require inspection, testing, and possible repair or replacement before reuse. Inspection and Removal Inspection and Removal: Available Monday through Friday, by confirmed appointment only. The site is closed on federal holidays.
