QSC CMX 800V Professional Power Amplifier The QSC CMX 800V (and its updated variation, the CMX 800Va) is a commercial-grade, 2-channel professional power amplifier custom-engineered for permanent system installations and contractors. Built on a rugged 2RU chassis, it blends the high-output reliability of touring amplifiers with specialized "Flex-Use" features tailored for distributed commercial audio. Core Power Capabilities Low-Impedance Setup: Delivers 500 Watts per channel at 8 Ohms and 800 Watts per channel at 4 Ohms. It can safely drive heavy speaker loads all the way down to 2 Ohms. Distributed 70V/100V Lines: The "V" in the name indicates its ability to directly drive high-impedance commercial speaker systems without requiring bulky, sound-degrading internal transformers. It pushes 400 Watts x 2 in 70V stereo mode, or up to 2,000 Watts x 1 in 70V/100V bridged mono configurations.
