Overview This lot contains (1) 400-foot radio tower. The tower is classified in used condition. The tower includes lighting system, guy wires, antennas, and coax cables. Complete dismantling and removal is required at the purchaser's expense. Key Features 400-foot guyed tower structure. Includes integrated lighting system for aviation safety. Guy wire support system included. Antennas and coaxial cables included with the tower. Tower footing to be abandoned in place per removal requirements. Condition & Markings This lot is in used condition. Parts may be missing, and repairs may be required. Tower requires complete dismantling and removal by the purchaser. Guy anchors may be removed or abandoned in place at purchaser's discretion. Tower is not available for removal until October 2026. Inspection and Removal Inspection and Removal: Available Monday through Friday, by confirmed appointment only. The site is closed on federal holidays. Contact the property custodian (listed below) to schedule an appointment. Property Inspection: Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the property prior to placing a bid to evaluate its condition and suitability. By bidding without an inspection, bidders assume the risk of potential omissions in the description. Removal Responsibilities: The successful bidder is solely responsible for all aspects of removal, including packing, crating, banding, loading, and shipping. The agency will not provide assistance. Authorized Third-Party Removal: The authorized third-party agent must present a Letter of Authorization from the high bidder (see terms and conditions for details), a copy of the purchaser's receipt, and a valid photo ID at the time of removal. Special Removal Requirements: Complete dismantling and removal of the 400-foot guyed tower is required at purchaser's expense. No debris shall be allowed to fall outside Government owned property. No debris shall be left on Government property. Tower shall be removed without damage to utilities, adjacent building, fence, and propane tank. The area around guy anchors shall be backfilled and leveled if removed. Tower is not available for removal until October 2026.
