The Lakeside Equipment Corporation Raptor transport screw conveyor SO 15-162 is an enclosed mechanical handling assembly used in wastewater treatment headworks to lift, wash, compact, and dewater captured screenings or grit. Transports separated debris from collection troughs or grit chambers up an inclined transport tube. Combines automated conveying with volume/weight reduction (dewatering up to 40% dry solids content) Enclosed stainless steel tubular housing to control odors, contain spray wash water, and maintain a clean plant environment. Direct or shaft-mounted gear motor turning a central shaftless or shafted spiral screw. Conveyor only - NO MOTOR Length approximately 20 feet
