SURPLUS LOT OF ROAD EQUIPMENT SUPPLIES — COUNTY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO This public auction is for One (1) lot of used public-works road materials and equipment. Sold as a single lot only. Partial bids and partial awards will not be accepted. The successful bidder must take the entire lot. Items included, quantities approximate and not guaranteed: 1. One (1) used Caterpillar loader bucket, represented by the owning department as for a 938G. Compatibility, pin size, coupler type, wear, cracks, and missing hardware have not been verified by the County. 2. One (1) lot of used traffic-signal / streetlight poles. Count, lengths, base types, and condition not stated. Poles may be bent, cut, or incomplete. 3. Six (6) used traffic-signal controller / cabinet boxes. Contents, if any, are included only as found. No representation that cabinets are complete, locked, weather-tight, or free of wiring. 4. One (1) 48-inch concrete riser with lid. Weight unknown. Buyer is responsible for safe lifting. 5. One (1) lot of miscellaneous lengths of sheet pile described by the department as usable. Lengths, section type, and condition are approximate only. 6. One (1) lot of miscellaneous lengths of sheet pile described by the department as bent and/or welded scrap. 7. One (1) 24-inch HDPE tee. 8. One (1) lot of miscellaneous 18-inch and 24-inch plastic (believed HDPE) collars. Count not verified. 9. Eight (8) 18-inch HDPE 22-degree angles. 10. One (1) 36-inch duckbill (check valve). Condition and completeness not verified. 11. One (1) lot of soil-nail mounting plates, approximately 75 each 12. Approximately seventy-five (75) soil nails, described as about 30 feet long. Exact count, length, diameter, thread condition, and coatings are not guaranteed. Nails may carry soil or residue. 13. Twenty-five (25) angled parking bumpers. 14. Thirty (30) rounded parking bumpers. 15. Approximately forty-five (45) rubber mats with angled approach. 16. Approximately sixty (60) flat rubber mats, described as about 24 inches by 48 inches. Counts above that say “approximately,” “about,” or “lot” are estimates from the owning department. The buyer must verify count, size, weight, and condition at inspection.
