Condition: GOOD This sale is for one (1) Rotary Kiln and Belt Furnace. Manufacturer: Harper Int'l Corp. Model: Custom Built SN: FJ00280 Acq Date: May 2011 Original Cost: 627,661.39 Power: 480 V, 3 phase, 60 Hz, 76 KVA Connected load Includes: Hopper feeder, belt system for furnace, furnace belt, process panel, etc. This equipment is controlled by the U.S. Dept of Commerce under Export Control Classification (ECCN) 2B999. This equipment is general-purpose thermal processing devices for industrial and research use. It can be used either as a Rotating Tube Furnace or as a Mesh Belt Furnace each with four (4) heating zones. The furnace must be assembled, or configured, with components that allow it to function as one or the other. The furnace is equipped with a variable-speed drives for variable tube speed and variable belt speed. The furnace when used as a Rotary Tube Furnace has a feeder installed. The furnace is set up to do two separate things. With the muffle and belt system it can heat treat materials up to 800c. I believe this is its max temp or close to it as that is the hottest we have ever run it. The belt moves so slow you can t see it moving so it can create long residence times in the hot zones. If the tube is put in place, it can be rotated during processing. It can also be raised at one end up to 10 degrees I think is the max. The accessories that come with it was designed to expose materials to steam; they may be able to be use with other gases. There should also be a system to catch the material as it exits the tube and a feeder to feed the tube from the other end. The tube can handle pellets, powder, and flake materials or anything that will flow. The belt can handle solid materials. *Pickup will not be held to the 7 days. You must submit all required forms within 7 days. We will work with you on scheduling trucks to align with when our riggers will be available to load. NOTE: The winning bidder must complete and submit the Sales Agreement form and the End User Certificate to us before the sale can completed. The forms are attached.
