The winning bidder will be required to disconnect, disassemble and remove the components listed within the building structure which includes manpower and equipment and leave a broom clean area. The winning bidder will have general liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 and proof of workman's compensation. The preparation of a removal plan will be needed prior to allowing access. Purchaser hereby releases Seller, its employees, agents and representatives, from any and all claims, loss, and liability sustained or incurred by Purchaser or others resulting in or attributing to injury or death of any person or loss or damage to any property as a result of or in any way related to its purchase, use or operation of the equipment and or material (regardless of whether arising in contract, warranty, negligence, strict liability or otherwise). - The unit is sold with no warranties or guarantees. - The purchaser is responsible for the disassembly and removal of the unit from the VA property. - The unit is located outdoors and connected to the loading dock; the VA will disconnect all electrical and steam lines from the facility prior to removal. - The purchaser is required to provide their own insurance coverage. The VA is not responsible for any personal or property liability during the de-installation process. Overview (1) Sani-Pak Compactor. The compactor is classified in repairable condition. The deck and canopy are not a part of the sale for the Sani Pak Compactor. The item appears to be an industrial waste compaction unit designed for commercial applications. Condition & Markings This lot is in repairable condition. Parts may be missing, and repairs may be required. Inspection and Removal Inspection and Removal: Available Monday through Friday, by confirmed appointment only. The site is closed on federal holidays. Contact the property custodian (listed below) to schedule an appointment. Property Inspection: Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the property prior to placing a bid to evaluate its condition and suitability. By bidding without an inspection, bidders assume the risk of potential omissions in the description. Removal Responsibilities: The successful bidder is solely responsible for all aspects of removal, including packing, crating, banding, loading, and shipping. The agency will not provide assistance. Authorized Third-Party Removal: The authorized third-party agent must present a Letter of Authorization from the high bidder (see terms and conditions for details), a copy of the purchaser's receipt, and a valid photo ID at the time of removal.
