Overview One lot estimated to consist of scrap frangible powder. The lot is classified in scrap condition. The lot consists of twenty-eight (26) 55-gallon barrels weighing approximately 44,772 lbs. Key Features Contains 84-96% copper and 4-16% tin zinc composition. Does not contain explosive powder or hazardous material. Total weight of approximately 44,772 lbs across 26 barrels. Condition & Markings This lot is in scrap condition. Parts are missing. The copper and any zinc content must be reported if the material is to be disposed of in a landfill. Transportation is governed by hazardous materials regulations and must be properly classified, described, packaged, marked, and labeled. Inspection and Removal Inspection and Removal: Available Monday through Friday, by confirmed appointment only. The site is closed on federal holidays. Contact the property custodian (listed below) to schedule an appointment. Property Inspection: Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the property prior to placing a bid to evaluate its condition and suitability. By bidding without an inspection, bidders assume the risk of potential omissions in the description. Removal Responsibilities: The successful bidder is solely responsible for all aspects of removal, including packing, crating, banding, loading, and shipping. The agency will not provide assistance. Authorized Third-Party Removal: The authorized third-party agent must present a Letter of Authorization from the high bidder (see terms and conditions for details), a copy of the purchaser's receipt, and a valid photo ID at the time of removal. The purchaser will comply with all applicable local ordinances and regulations with respect to the care, handling, storage, shipment, resale, export, and other use of the material purchased.
