Overview This lot contains (2) MEP802A 5kw skid mounted diesel generators. One generator was manufactured by Fermont in August 2010, and the other was manufactured by Libby Corp. in May 1994. The generators are classified in repairable condition. Both units show signs of wear and weathering consistent with their age and use. Condition & Markings This lot is in repairable condition. Parts may be missing, and repairs may be required. Both generators show visible weathering, surface rust, and paint wear consistent with outdoor storage. The Fermont unit displays military camouflage paint pattern with some fading and wear. The Libby Corp unit shows tan/beige coloring with visible surface corrosion and paint deterioration. Both units have U.S. Department of Defense NATO Standard OTAN identification plates. Operating condition is unknown for both generators. Various warning labels and caution markings are visible on both units. Inspection and Removal Inspection and Removal: Available Monday through Friday, by confirmed appointment only. The site is closed on federal holidays. Contact the property custodian (listed below) to schedule an appointment. Removal Responsibilities: The successful bidder is solely responsible for all aspects of removal, including packing, crating, banding, loading, and shipping. The agency will not provide assistance. Authorized Third-Party Removal: The authorized third-party agent must present a Letter of Authorization from the high bidder (see terms and conditions for details), a copy of the purchaser's receipt, and a valid photo ID at the time of removal. Onsite inspection is highly encouraged, inspection times are 8am-3pm CST.
