Overview This lot contains (1) Scrap steel/welding steel and iron scrap. The lot is classified in usable condition. The lot appears to contain angle iron, steel pipe, and other materials that were previously used for welding or crafting repairs. Iron and steel are included, and the lot may include other ferrous or nonferrous metals. Condition & Markings Parts may be missing, and repairs may be required. The lot consists of various scrap metal materials including angle iron and steel pipe. Materials show evidence of previous welding or repair work. Additional ferrous or nonferrous metals may be present in the lot. Inspection is recommended to ascertain exact quantities and condition of materials. Inspection and Removal Inspection and Removal: Available Monday through Friday, by confirmed appointment only. The site is closed on federal holidays. Contact the property custodian (listed below) to schedule an appointment. Property Inspection: Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the property prior to placing a bid to evaluate its condition and suitability. By bidding without an inspection, bidders assume the risk of potential omissions in the description. Removal Responsibilities: The successful bidder is solely responsible for all aspects of removal, including packing, crating, banding, loading, and shipping. The agency will not provide assistance. Authorized Third-Party Removal: The authorized third-party agent must present a Letter of Authorization from the high bidder (see terms and conditions for details), a copy of the purchaser's receipt, and a valid photo ID at the time of removal. Successful bidder will be required to take all of the scrap steel/welding steel and iron scrap lot. Multiple loads/site visits may be necessary. Bidder will be responsible to load and secure material prior to leaving site and should expect no assistance with loading or securement of the property. Property can be viewed/picked up upon successful allocation Monday through Friday, 0700-1400 with at least 24 hours prior notice required before access is granted. Government issued/state issued ID is required as building site is a federal property. Due to recent legislation all visitors must present a "Real ID" compliant license to be signed in on site. Only the person identified on the transfer order, or their agent identified in writing will be allowed to pick up the property. Disclaimer The condition of the property is not warranted.
