The Pediascan Model 100 Transilluminator by Sylvan Fiberoptics is a small, cordless, handheld cold-light device used in hospitals to find veins, identify IV/PICC sites, and detect conditions like pneumothorax in newborns. Specifications Light Output: ±7,000 foot-candle power of brilliant white light Temperature: Maximum tip temperature of 94°F for safety on delicate skin Filtration: Built-in filters remove ultraviolet (UV) and infrared (IR) light energy Design: Cordless, rugged ABS plastic housing with a simple push-button switch Power: Powered by a rechargeable 7.2V battery The Transilluminator has been powered on. The Transilluminator has not been tested further. The Transilluminator comes with everything that is documented within the included photos and nothing more.
