Full Description

The Martin MAC 2000 Series is a legendary line of high-performance, automated moving-head luminaires developed by Martin Lighting. Long considered a global industry standard for large-scale concert touring, theatrical productions, and television studios, the series features powerful 1200W short-arc discharge lamps, full CMY color mixing, and precise mechanical operations. Though the series has been officially discontinued by the manufacturer, it remains highly active on the secondary market for venues looking for dependable, high-output intelligent lighting on a budget. Core Models in the MAC 2000 Series The series is divided into distinct configurations tailored for specific theatrical and staging needs: • MAC 2000 Profile / Profile II: Designed for crisp projections, texture, and aerial beam effects. It incorporates a dual indexable rotating gobo wheel system, full CMY color mixing, a motorized iris, zoom, focus, and a variable beam-shaper. • MAC 2000 Performance: Specifically engineered with modifications for theater and television environments. It builds upon the Profile platform by adding a mechanized, automated framing system (shutter blades) for precise beam shaping alongside an advanced gobo animation module. • MAC 2000 Wash / Wash XB: Focused strictly on high-intensity color flooding and smooth fields. The standard Wash uses a 1200W lamp, while the Wash XB variant bumps the power up to a massive 1500W short-arc discharge to achieve industry-leading lumen output within a compact housing footprint. 27 Theatrical lights with 13 flight cases Dimensions of Cases 46" x 23" x 33" Untested/ fair condition
