Condition: Fair This lot consists of one (1) three-drawer open-top filing cabinet. This lot has been rated as being in fair condition due to the cabinet showing minimal signs of prior use and wear while remaining structurally sound. Cosmetic wear is limited to minor scratches, scuffs, and other signs of handling consistent with normal office use. The cabinet is generally serviceable; however, it does have one known operational issue involving the locking mechanism. The make and model of this filing cabinet are unknown. The cabinet features an open-top storage compartment, two (2) supply drawers, and one (1) file drawer, providing convenient storage for both office supplies and documents. Prospective bidders should note that the top drawer and/or locking mechanism has a known issue. When the top drawer is fully closed, it places enough pressure on the locking mechanism to inadvertently engage the lock for the bottom file drawer, preventing it from opening. The middle drawer does not exhibit this issue and operates normally. When the top drawer is left open, the bottom file drawer also operates as intended. The exact cause of this condition has not been diagnosed.
