Ok, so I got off work last night and went to Coaches to have a beer and some chicken wings. Yes, I'm an ol' fat boy, and I did enjoy them. So.....waiting on my wings I was watching Sweden and Columbia play for the world cup. They kept knocking each other down and those young boys could make a career out of rolling around on the ground acting hurt. Anyway, it made me think about these two sets of soccer goals that have been sitting in the yard for at least five years now. Up for auction is two (2) sets of goals. Four (4) goals total. Set one is made from steel pipe, and measures about 17'-4" wide, 7'-3" high, and 5'-9" deep. The pipes are bolted to the two end frames. They are rusty bolts so plan on cutting or grinding them off worst case. The net will need to be replaced but it is yours to haul off. Set two is made from aluminum frame on the front, and light galvanized pipe for the sides and bottom rail. I noticed some difference in the corners on these two goals, maybe different manufacturers or somebody made a repair. These two measure 24'-8" wide, 8'-4" high, and 7'-2" deep. Again, net needs replacement but it's yours to haul off. All measurements were approximant so if you need something mission critical, YOU need to come measure them before bidding. It's hot as haddies outside and I'm sweating off my beer and hot sauce. And let me go ahead and answer a question that I know will come up, YES, you have to take both sets. Scrap one of them out if you don't need or want both, DR Griffin is only a few miles away and takes scrap metal. Goals are outside of the fence line and can be inspected at any time.
