DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, OFFICE OF THE CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER The property being sold in this auction are the contents of safe deposit boxes reported to the District of Columbia, Unclaimed Property Unit by various safekeeping repositories. The boxes have been unclaimed by the owner for more than 3 years from the date on which the lease or rental period expired. All items have been reviewed by a certified appraiser in order to provide accurate descriptions and an approximate starting bid amount.
