- As Is The Valleylab CUSA EXcel Ultrasonic Surgical Suction System (often labeled under Valleylab, Covidien, or its primary developer and current manufacturer, Integra LifeSciences) is an industry-standard Ultrasonic Surgical Aspirator. Commonly referred to simply as the "CUSA" (Caviter Ultrasonic Surgical Aspirator), this mobile clinical console combines ultrasonic ablation, continuous irrigation, and high-powered suction.
