We no longer offer local pickup at any of our locations. As such, ALL ITEMS WILL BE SHIPPED UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED IN THE ITEM DESCRIPTION. PLEASE BE SURE TO READ OUR INSPECTION, PAYMENT & REMOVAL SECTIONS AT THE BOTTOM OF OUR LISTING EVERY TIME THAT YOU BID. THEY DO GET UPDATED OCCASIONALLY AND MAY BE DIFFERENT FROM THE LAST TIME THAT YOU BID WITH US.. These sections will answer most of your questions regarding payment and shipping. Over the next several weeks, we will be auctioning a large amount of coins, precious metals, jewelry AND MORE that we took in from an estate. We are not experts in this field and have been as thorough in our description as we can with the limited knowledge that we have. The estate lot had multiple bins of coins and bills. Keep checking back over the next few weeks as we have MORE TO COME!! You are bidding on a SUPER NICE 1928 $2 STAR NOTE with a MISCUT ERROR!! Older, red $2 notes are highly collectible to begin with, (ESPECIALLY THOSE FROM THE 1928 SERIES!) but this one has several added bonuses! For openers, this is a STAR NOTE!!! A star note is a US currency bill that replaces a damaged or misprinted note that was originally printed with the same serial number. These notes are issued by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. Newer bills feature a star symbol at the end of the serial number to indicate that it is a reprint, but this particular series of bills had the star on the front of the serial number. Finding a $2 star note is a great find within itself, but to find a red, 1928 series star is exceptionally rare! In addition to this bill being a rare star note, it is also a MISCUT ERROR NOTE!!! If you look at the back of this bill, you will notice that the printing is close to the edge on right side and the bottom, leaving a large open area on the opposite sides of the bill. Also, the front has more space on the top of the bill, but the sides are equal, which is particularly unusual considering that the back is off on both the top/bottom and the sides. Combining all these particulars with the fact that this is a red 1928 $2 bill and you have a incredibly collectible bill!!! As shown in the photos, this bill will come with a hard, protective sleeve to protect your investment. Here's your chance to add this highly desirable bill to your collection.... and for a great GovDeals price! Here's your chance to add an incredible piece of monetary history to your collection, and for a great GovDeals price! PLEASE NOTE: Pictures are the of exact bill you will receive. PLEASE BE SURE TO CHECK OUT OUR OTHER AUCTIONS BY CLICKING HERE! ALL ITEMS MUST BE PAID FOR WITHIN 5 BUSINESS DAYS OF AUCTION'S END Please call our office at (404)826-2666 to make appointments for inspections at any of our facilities. Please DO NOT wait until the last minute to schedule an inspection or to ask questions about this item or for a shipping quote. Please remember, we are liquidators.
