Vintage U.S. AIR FORCE K-2B LIGHTWEIGHT FLIGHT SUIT – COLD WAR ERA – MEDIUM REGULAR – U.S. PROPERTY. Up for auction is an original U.S. Air Force K-2B Lightweight Flight Suit in excellent vintage condition. This authentic military-issued flight suit features the iconic sage green color, dual-direction front zipper system, angled chest pockets, utility sleeve pocket, and original U.S. Air Force shoulder insignia. Manufactured by Albert Turner & Co., Inc., this example retains its original military specification label identifying it as a Type K-2B "Flying Man's Very Light Suit." The K-2B was developed for Air Force pilots and aircrew operating high-performance aircraft during the Cold War era and was widely used throughout the late 1950s and 1960s. This suit remains in exceptionally well-preserved condition with no apparent holes, tears, stains, or repairs observed. Zippers, pockets, and closures appear intact.
