Full Description

The Boone County Conservation District is offering three steel bridge spans for sale. The bridges were originally part of the Whitman Street Bridge in Rockford, Illinois, and were acquired by BCCD following the bridge replacement. Two bridge spans are approximately 50 feet long. One bridge span is approximately 40 feet long. All three spans are approximately 10 feet wide. Estimated weight is 10–15 tons per bridge (based on an estimate from a crane operator). Buyer is responsible for all loading, transportation, and removal. The District would prefer to sell all three bridges as a single lot.
