Where does demand run hottest across U.S. government surplus? This map sorts 57,738 auctions into geographic cells, and colors each by bidding intensity - bids per lot or relative price increase. Bidding intensity is hottest in Texas, the South and the rural West - Sundance, WY is the outlier, with the average lot finishing at 50× its starting bid.
