Methodology: median final winning bid on furniture lots that closed on official US government auction platforms over the trailing 365 days. Realised sale prices, excluding buyer's premium. No-bid lots excluded; a month needs at least 5 sales to chart. The current month is still filling, so it is shown faded and excluded from the 3-month change. Lots whose true hammer price we captured after close are used as-is. The rest are corrected for late bidding, by a factor measured per category against the lots where we have both figures. Updated daily.
