What's new - week of June 22, 2026
By Ben|
Hi, it's Ben with your weekly update on what's new at GovAuctions.app. Here's what shipped this week, some numbers for you, and the strangest thing we found up for auction this week.
What's new
New features
- Pro subscribers now get a one-tap Bid-now alert for alerts that are "steals" (ie below the normal sales comp with not long left on the auction).
- We've updated the resale flip margin with more data to be more accurate, and added estimated "end-values" for auctions based on past data.
- And I've been trying in general to clean up and simplify the design of the site.
Bug fixes
- Lots of vehicles sold at auction have damage or issues that would impact resale value, but the estimates were sometimes missing this, so I've improved our ability to find and include reported damage.
- Flip estimates sometimes had an extremely broad range, which isn't that useful if you're trying to bid or re-sell, so I've done some work to tighten up those estimates.
By the numbers
A few things I'm happy to share this week:
- 36,173 live US listings indexed right now, refreshed daily.
- 4 countries and 50 US states with active listings, across 12 auction sources.
Wacky listing of the week
My favorite find this week: a Ford Transit 350 JAIL VAN - Police Prisoner Transport Van turned up on govdeals out of FL, with bidding around $20,000. See the listing.
That's it for this week. If you have any questions or suggestions, send me a message - I read every one. Thanks for reading, and happy bidding.
