Hi, it's Ben with your weekly update on what's new at GovAuctions.app. Here's what I shipped this week, a couple of numbers, and the strangest thing I found up for auction.
What's new
New features
- Improved search quality across the site - more accurate, better results
- Improved resale estimates by tightening category classifications and adding more listing sub-types
- Added a referral option at govauctions.app/refer so you can get a free month of Pro when you refer a friend
Bug fixes
- Fixed a bug in the mobile search experience that was making typing/deleting slow in the search bar
- Improved damage classifier, to prevent clearly damaged listings (mostly vehicles) from showing without the damage warning
By the numbers
A few things I'm happy to share this week:
- ~50,000 live listings indexed right now, refreshed daily.
- 4 countries and 25+ auction sources.
- 34,830 listings already have active bids.
Wacky listing of the week
My favorite find this week: a custom 14k gold white pendant, with bidding around $4,000 - see the listing.
