What's new - week of August 3, 2026
By Ben|
Hi, it's Ben with your weekly update on what's new at GovAuctions.app. Here's what I shipped this week, and the strangest thing I found up for auction.
What's new
New features
- New listings are now added multiple times a day
- Increased the number of API calls that can be made on the Free tier, and added a cheaper $19 Starter tier, as well as CSV export
- Published weekly market reports at govauctions.app/reports
- Added J.J. Kane as a government-filtered US source
Bug fixes
- Fixed a bug that was preventing some people from returning to their previous listing after creating an account
- Fixed a bug where users were getting rate-limited due to background loading of listing images
- Fixed a bug where some listings were loading without a Pro panel, even if sold-comps were available
Wacky listing of the week
My favorite find this week: six huge adjacent plots of land outside Brainerd, MN turned up on publicsurplus, with bidding around $794,100. See the listing.
That's it for this week. If you have any questions or suggestions, send me a message - I read every one. Thanks for reading, and happy bidding.
