What's new - week of August 17, 2026
By Ben|
Hi, it's Ben with your weekly update on what's new at GovAuctions.app. Here's what I shipped this week, a couple of numbers, and the strangest thing I found up for auction.
What's new
New features
- Updated the “For You” view of the feed to better incorporate preferences from your saved listings and interests.
- Increased accuracy of resale estimates by adding new sources
- Added a floating “back-to-top” button on the feed to make it easier to navigate back up
Bug fixes
- Fixed a bug where the opening bid for a lot was not showing
- Fixed the price for lots that had "No bids" but a reserve price
- Fixed a bug where jewelry listings were sometimes showing up in real estate
By the numbers
- 47,886 live US listings indexed right now, refreshed twice-daily.
- 38,693 of them already have active bids.
Wacky listing of the week
My favorite find this week: an entire Sodium Hydroxide Scrubber facility turned up on govdeals out of NJ, with bidding around $1,000,000. See the listing.
That's it for this week. If you have any questions or suggestions, send me a message - I read every one. Thanks for reading, and happy bidding.
