What's new - week of August 31, 2026
By Ben|
Hi, it's Ben with your weekly update on what's new at GovAuctions.app. Here's what I shipped this week, a couple of numbers, and the strangest thing I found up for auction.
What's new
New features
- Moved the search box into the site header for easy access
- Added "Seller deal quality" on the listing page to help you identify better deals
- Added a Flip Scoreboard to the saved listings page, which lets you grade your watchlist against what they closed at
- Added a feature for Pro users to create alerts based on listings that clear an estimated margin
Bug fixes
- Fixed several issues with search results quality and the search experience
- Improved resale and max bid estimates across all categories, in part by tightening the list of similar listings being used as comps
By the numbers
A few things I'm happy to share this week:
- >54,000 live listings indexed right now, refreshed every 30 minutes.
- 34,699 of them already have active bids.
Wacky listing of the week
My favorite find this week: a Complete Plant Molded Fiber Food Packaging Equipment (Bulk Offer) turned up on govdeals out of TX, with bidding around $750,000. See the listing.
That's it for this week. If you have any questions or suggestions, send me a message - I read every one. Thanks for reading, and happy bidding.
