Hi, it's Ben with your weekly update on what's new at GovAuctions.app. Here's what I shipped this week, a couple of numbers, and the strangest thing I found up for auction.
What's new
New features
- Added a universal search bar to the site
- Made significant improvements to the closing price estimate across categories
- For sellers where we have enough data, added a notice on whether they generally list good/average/poor deals
- Made several improvements to search results quality
- Cleaned up the toolbar on desktop and mobile
- Published several research articles
Bug fixes
- Fixed a bug where damaged vehicles were sometimes showing up on the homepage as deals
By the numbers
- 52,679 live US listings indexed right now, refreshed every 30 minutes.
- 37,778 of them already have active bids.
Wacky listing of the week
My favorite find this week: a New/Installed HITEC PowerPRO 2700 DRUPS Units, 13.14MW, w/Sound Suppression Enclosures & BAAQMD Tier 4 Controls turned up on govdeals out of CA, with bidding around $1,500,000. See the listing.
