What's new - week of October 19, 2026
By Ben|
Hi, it's Ben with your weekly update on what's new at GovAuctions.app. Here's what I shipped this week, a couple of numbers, and the strangest thing I found up for auction.
What's new
New features
- Added a contact email for sellers on listings, where available
- Made several improvements to site speed and performance
- Added several risk checks and details to real estate listings
By the numbers
A few things I'm happy to share this week:
- 65,085 live US listings indexed right now, refreshed daily.
- 48,776 of them already have active bids.
Wacky listing of the week
My favorite find this week: a Peterson 4300B Portable Whole Tree Chipper (2014) turned up on GovDeals out of NY, with bidding around $175,000. See the listing.
That's it for this week. If you have any questions or suggestions, send me a message - I read every one. Thanks for reading, and happy bidding.
