1908 Barber Silver Quarter — Holder Labeled Very Good — 30.00 1908 Barber quarter in a protective holder labeled “Authenticated — Very Good — Barber Quarter.” • Country: United States • Year: 1908 • Denomination: Quarter dollar — 25 cents • Composition: 90% silver, 10% copper • Original standard weight: 6.25 grams; circulated coins weigh less from wear • Original silver content: approximately 0.1808 troy ounce • Diameter: 24.3 mm • Edge: Reeded • Designer: Charles E. Barber • Holder designation: Very Good • Holder number: BA17-00195-005 • Mint mark: Not confirmed from the supplied photos OBVERSE: Liberty facing right, surrounded by stars, with “IN GOD WE TRUST” above and “1908” below. REVERSE DESIGN: Heraldic eagle with shield, arrows, and olive branch. The reverse on this example is heavily worn and obscured by mottled discoloration. “Very Good” is the description printed on the holder. No numerical grade appears on the label. Coin shows substantial circulation wear, spots, and discoloration. Holder has extensive visible scratches and scuffs. Please review the original photos for condition.
