Description: This 1993 Caterpillar 928F front-end wheel loader, Serial No. 2XL00297, is equipped with a fully enclosed cab and a Caterpillar 3116 turbocharged diesel engine. The machine rides on 17.5R25 air-filled tires on both the front and rear and is equipped with a standard bucket. Designed for material handling and earthmoving applications, the loader features a robust frame and articulated steering for improved maneuverability. Dimensions: The loader has an overall length of 22 feet 9 inches (6.9 meters), a width over the tires of 7.79 feet (2.38 meters), and a wheelbase of approximately 9.5 feet (2.90 meters) measured from axle centerline to axle centerline. The height to the top of the cab is approximately 10.5 feet, and ground clearance ranges from 1.05 to 1.10 feet. Equipment Details: Year: 1993 Make: Caterpillar Model: 928F (2XL) Serial Number: 2XL00297 Hours: 43,599 Condition: This wheel loader has been heavily used and has several known mechanical and cosmetic issues. The cab has a cracked side window, and there is a broken weld on the right-side ladder leading up to the operator's compartment. The machine has multiple fluid leaks, and the turbocharger has significant issues resulting in excessive smoke during operation. Additionally, the transmission is experiencing shifting problems, and the machine has no functional air conditioning or heat. Overall, the loader will require substantial repairs and maintenance before being returned to reliable service. NOTE: This lot is offered for sale to buyers located in the USA only.
