1995 Chevrolet P30 FORWARD CONTROL, 5.7L V8 OHV 16V. Origin of vehicle is unknown. APD obtained the vehicle sometime in 2014 from a local drug task force. Since obtaining the vehicle it has been used primarily for the transport of our SRT (SWAT) personnel and equipment to and from training events, call outs and or other special events such as crime scenes etc. The vehicle has stayed mostly inside the local area of Grays Harbor County since APD acquired it. Since 2014 there have been no major repairs done to the vehicle other than an alternator, brakes, minor repairs and oil changes. The vehicle has not been involved in any major collision that APD is aware of since acquiring it in 2014. The vehicle has cabinets and storage benches inside of the vehicle and an awning was added several years prior. The status/condition of the awning is unknown as it has not been used in several years and is currently secured closed with a knot made of barrier tape. As shown the vehicle is equipped to be plugged into shore power for storing it. The vehicle was not driven many miles, total miles reflect that, however vehicle would have idled at crime scenes, some training and or team activations. Vehicle was stored outside however partially covered its entire time at APD. It does not appear to have any leaks nor is it suspected of having any leaks. Vehicle is currently stored outside as of last week as its replacement is already being used. Pictures were taken recently with the only difference being the overhead emergency exterior light bar and a CB antenna were taken off by Aberdeen's Vehicle Maintenance facility personnel.
