1998 Ford Econoline Medtec Ambulance body 7.3L V8 OHV 16V TURBO DIESEL FEATURES: 7.3L POWER STROKE!! 4 Speed Auto, Cruise control, Power Windows, Power Door locks, Air Conditioning, Power Brakes, Power Steering. DESCRIPTION: Former municipal fire ambulance unit converted to police incident command vehicle in 2007. It is a Medtec Ambulance body conversion. Runs and drives. Driven very few miles since being converted to an incident command vehicle. Last maintenance (Oil/air/fuel filters and oil change) performed in August 2016. New batteries installed December 2024. Tires hold air. No warning lights present. Master battery switch under driver's seat. Cab roof paint is peeling, and surface rust is present. Other spots on the front of the ambulance body have paint peeling back to the original white paint. (See photos) Hood has paint cracking. (See photos) Crack across the top of the windshield. Cab headliner sagging near the windshield. Door sensor is faulty, causing the rear exterior flood lights to remain on. Relay removed to turn them off. Steering is typical of a 200,000+ mile vehicle; a bit loose. Emergency equipment removed or painted over. Graphics removed, but impressions may remain. Vehicle is sold as-is with no warranty expressed or implied.
