Payment will be made at The City of Farmington Hills Treasurer’s Office which is located at 31555 West 11 Mile Road, Farmington Hills, MI 48336. Applicable State sales tax will be charged. TAX EXEMPTION: If a governmental entity, school or car dealer is the successful bidder, a tax exemption form will be required before the item can be removed from the premises. PICK-UP: Once an item has been paid for, it can be picked up by the awarded bidder at the Central Services Department, 31555 W 11 Mile Road, Farmington Hills. The awarded bidder must bring a copy of the receipt to the Central Services Department in order to pick up any item. All items will be removed at the risk and expense of the purchaser. The items must be loaded without City staff participation. Please note that the City of Farmington Hills WILL NOT SHIP ANY ITEMS. PICK-UP TIME LIMIT: If an item is not picked up within 10 business days after the auction expiration date and time, the City of Farmington Hills reserves the right to retain the item and re-list it for auction and block the bidder from future auctions.
