2006 Freightliner M2 106 Medium Duty CONVENTIONAL CAB 6.4L L6 DIESEL ELGIN - Pelican Street Sweeper - Used to sweep municipal streets on a weekly basis. Serial - NP2319D City purchased a new sweeper and are now trying to sell our old one. A/C is strong - new compressor installed this year, and it also has a pretty new conveyer belt. New bearing blocks and chain for the top roller for the conveyer belt. New steer tires this year. We have a brand-new main broom to go with it along with 6 new side brooms all still new in boxes. Windshield wipers do not work. Directional Light bar located at rear top of machine does not work. Only working lights are the flashers, headlights, work lights, and taillights do not work. Radio does not work. Main broom does not wear evenly, still works but once the broom gets warn down so far on one side, there will be plenty of life left on the other side and you’ll have to get a new main broom more often. Weather stripping needs replaced in some areas. Right side broom has a hydraulic leak. We believe that there is some sort of electrical issue somewhere that it all COULD be all tied together but we never had any luck locating or fixing it. We have a maintenance logbook we can give along with it.
