Year: 2016 Make: Ford Model: Explorer Mileage: 121046 VIN: 1FM5K8AR1GGA72107 Running Condition: Poor Engine: 3.7 Li 6V Transmission: 6 Automatic Tires: Fair Condition: FAIR This Ford Explorer Interceptor needs engine work and is recommended to tow. The vehicle was removed from the Sheriff's Office patrol fleet in the fall of 2021 and was used as a transport vehicle. It runs and drives, but the engine has a loud rattle on start-up, and the Check Engine light is on with codes pertaining to engine timing (possible failed tensioner). The water pump was replaced in 2022. The Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor (TPMS) light is on due to failed tire pressure sensor(s). The interior has holes and marks throughout from mounted and installed police equipment. The body has holes from police equipment and antennas. Rear doors are inoperable from the backseat area but do function. Winning Bidder must call to arrange a pickup time during normal business hours. Winning bidder is responsible for all costs associated with tax, title and registration.
