Vehicle Description β 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD Frazer Medic This 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD is equipped with the dependable 6.6L Duramax V8 Turbo Diesel engine and is being sold by Reeves County Emergency Services District (RCESD) as surplus equipment. While in RCESD service, this truck was routinely maintained as part of the fleet. When the vehicle was last operated, it ran and drove very well with no known engine performance issues. However, the vehicle has not been started in approximately six (6) months due to the loss of the ignition key and key fob. Important Buyer Information: Vehicle is being sold AS IS, WHERE IS, with no warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied. The ignition key and key fob have been lost. Because the vehicle cannot be started, the current odometer mileage cannot be verified or displayed. The successful purchaser will be responsible for towing the vehicle from the auction site or arranging for a qualified locksmith or dealership to cut and program a new key and/or re-key the ignition before the vehicle can be operated. Although the Medic ran and drove well the last time it was in service, the ESD cannot guarantee its current mechanical condition due to the vehicle being out of service and not started for approximately six months. Buyers are strongly encouraged to inspect the vehicle prior to bidding and should factor these conditions into their purchasing decision. This Medic represents an excellent opportunity for buyers seeking a heavy-duty diesel. With its proven 6.6L Duramax engine and commercial-grade capabilities, it has the potential to be an outstanding Medical unit after replacing the missing key and completing any necessary recommissioning.
